Hosting a Lampstand Press Booth

Hosting a Lampstand Press booth is a great opportunity to share Tapestry and earn rewards! We are looking for qualified people to represent Tapestry at conferences across the nation (and across the world) in 2008. Would you like to receive a free Tapestry Year-Plan for telling others why Tapestry of Grace and other Lampstand Press products have worked for your family? Click below for more information!

We are looking for qualified people to represent Tapestry at State Conventions this year.
  • Every year we get requests from prospective customers to see Tapestry before purchasing it. We are excited that this year, through you, we will meet an additional need of home schooling parents nationwide.
  • We offer you a free year-plan for your upcoming school year. (We ask that you sign up in pairs to man the booth so that, if desired, you can also attend part of the conference. EACH booth vendor will receive a free Year-Plan of her choice.
  • Vendor teams will receive a percentage of products sold under our new Share & Save program.
    • Each vendor will be given a unique referral number.
    • As you man your booth, simply give this referral number to the guests you talk to.
    • This 15% referral benefit applies to all orders, whether for curriculum, supplementary products, or books, and works with other discounts, like Bonus Bundles or volume discounts on our Bookshelf.
  • You do not have to pay a fee to host your booth, but please plan to cover your transportation, lodging, and food expenses.

We have appreciated the heart of our Tapestry booth hostess moms who hosted booths with the desire to serve others. In addition to the opportunity to serve, our Share & $ave program affords you with a real opportunity to capitalize on your efforts at the booth throughout the year that follows.

What will Lampstand Press provide me as a vendor?

Lampstand Press wants to help as much as possible! We will provide:

  • Money to cover your booth costs.
  • A "booth kit" will be shipped to you at our expense. This kit will include such things as a booth banner, booth tablecloths, paperwork (order forms, etc.), brochures, instructions on how to set up, man, and fill in paperwork after the booth, binders with sample curriculum, and a flip chart that you can use to explain how Tapestry works.
  • You will be responsible for shipping this booth kit on to the next user immediately after the conference ends at our expense.
  • Lampstand Press will also ship promotional material to be given out at the conference by you. All material left over at the conference's end you will ship back to Lampstand Press. We will reimburse all shipping costs.

Who can be a State Convention Vendor?

We have several preferences in filling booth vendor slots. Below are our priorities:

  • We will offer vendor spots first to those who have completed at least one full year of Tapestry with their family, and who can therefore speak to prospective Tapestry users from knowledgeable experience. It is our preference that both booth partners be Tapestry users. Ideally we would prefer at least one hostess to be a Redesigned user. If you are unable to find a booth partner yourself, we will help you do so.
  • We will offer vendor spots to state residents first. If no one submits an application for a state remote to you and you would like to represent Tapestry, we will consider out-of-state reps.
  • We will offer vendor spots first to vendor teams--applications that list two people who will work together in the Tapestry booth and be jointly responsible for sales and paperwork if it is a new convention for us, but please apply if you are unable to get a partner.

If you would like to receive a State Convention Booth Vendor application, follow these steps:

  • Check the list and the calendars for those conventions that are already taken.
  • Find out the dates and location of your state convention.
  • Try to find a "booth mate"--a fellow vendor to share representation with if it is a new convention for us. If you cannot find a booth mate, please apply anyways. We are happy to match booth vendors who may not presently know each other.
  • Email our Conferencing Department with the Booth Hostess Application.

If you can't become a convention vendor, consider holding a Tapestry Tea in your home!
