New Buying Guide Coming in early February

Many of you love being able to go to our store and quickly find individual products because you’re familiar with our layout and you know which product you want to buy. Easy in, easy out, and no fuss. We’re keeping things that way for you!

But there are a sizeable number of customers who take time to call us to make purchases, largely because they are uneasy with the number of choices they have to make when ordering Tapestry (especially for the first time) via the Internet. For the last few months, therefore, we’ve been working on a super new enhancement to our store that will help such folks in the coming year. It’s a step-by-step Buying Guide that will walk shoppers through ordering Tapestry of Grace and related supplements, explaining each product along the way, and helping each unique person easily determine which of our products will best serve her needs.

As a fun feature of the Buying Guide, today we are introducing you to a new online friend. She’s a wife and the mother of four kids, like many of you, and her name is Grace. She’s just agreed to helping us to explain Tapestry to newcomer moms through the spring…

Grace of Tapestry

Over the course of the spring, Grace will be appearing in a series of comics that will keep things light and fun while either explaining what Tapestry is and how it works to new moms, or leading busy ladies through the steps of the ordering process.

Incorporated, too, into our new Buying Guide will be helpful videos that star our own Juli Calderone, who ably heads our Customer Support and manages our warehouse. Want a sneak peek at one of thes videos? Click HERE. Between them, we just know that Grace and Juli will make shopping for new Tapestry products both fast and easy in 2010.

Upcoming February Special - $20 off DE year-plans!

In February, our monthly special will benefit those of you who want to do early-bird shopping for DE products. Both DE and PRINT/DE combos for Years 1, 2, and 3 will be on sale at $20 off the new prices posted here. Sale will run from February 1 through February 28.

Are you looking to purchase Year 4 for use in 2010? Great news! We'll be offering this same sale ($20 off DE and DE/print packages) for complete Year 4 year-plans when Year 4 is complete. The March newsletter will have full details on this sale.

For an added bonus during February, we’ll have another secret special that Grace will reveal in the course of taking you through the new Buying Guide. We want feedback from both new and existing customers on our new Buying Guide, so even if you’re a seasoned Tapestry user, if you find time to go through Grace’s new Buying Guide, she’ll have a special “thank you” gift for you along the way.

Year 4 Finishing Up Strong

We are so grateful to those of you who have walked by faith with us through the production of Year 4 Redesigned. By God’s grace, all of the money and energy that we needed has been abundantly provided, and we have been well ahead of schedule all year. In the first week of January, we released Unit 3 and all the necessary supplements for it. We praise God that, as we write this letter, we are still moving along ahead of schedule for Year 4! As a reminder, we plan to release Unit 4 week-plans in early March, and Unit 4 supplements a few weeks later. With the inclusion of a week off for spring break, the supported start date for Unit 4 is March 29, 2010, and we will then be DONE with the entire writing project of Redesigned Tapestry of Grace.

A Note of thanks as we cross the finish line…

By the time I mail out the next newsletter, we will have finished drafting Redesigned Tapestry of Grace! It will be in its final proofing stages, and just a few weeks from delivery to you. We have nearly completed what we set out by faith to do almost five years ago, and are so aware that it has only been by God’s sustaining grace—partly given through many of you—that we stand here today with an all-but-finished curriculum and a company on sound financial footing. We stand amazed as we look forward to 2010 and beyond, now confident of the financial future of Lampstand Press and so grateful to many of you who stood by us in hard times and made our survival possible. Gratitude only multiplies as we anticipate the joy of thousands of families who will be learning the humanities in a God-glorifying way while using Tapestry as the years unfold ahead. Thanks, again, for being used of the Lord to help bring our dream to! reality!
